Beach Report

The last day of August is here bringing along summer weather. The Northwest wind freshens up, so it seems that the “meltemia” have made their appearance again.
Meltemia are called the local summer winds that blow annually in the Greek seas and especially in the Aegean. In the southern Aegean and specifically in Santorini, the strong wind has NW direction and pleasantly cools our summer days and nights. The general weather conditions accompanying the annual winds are cloudless sky and rippled sea, as you will observe the next days!
