Beach Report

The cloud that is covering the whole of Greece is also stretching, today, over Santorini. Santorini though has its own microclimate, due to its low altitude and the location in the middle of the Aegean Sea. The northwestern breeze strengthens in the afternoon, making the heat more pleasant. Go for the southern and eastern beaches, ideal for swimming and sport activities, such as the magnificent Vlychada or the famous black beach called Perissa closer to the rock and after a mile renamed to Perivolos and Agios Georgios. Water sports can be found on the black beaches of Kamari and Perivolos-Perissa.
