Serenades form Melampes Village

Serenades from Melampes village are organized today for the 2nd time by the Cretan Association of Santorini "Το Arkadi".
Melampes is one of the villages in Crete that many old traditions remain alive.
One of them, the Melampiani Serenade, is sung by a group of devotees playing the lyre and the lute.
They walk through the streets of the village playing various Cretan songs while the residents of the houses treat them with raki.
You can live the tradition tonight in Vourvoulos, at 21:00.
