Squall in Santorini

You never thought you were going to see rain in Santorini, did you?
The weather in May proved once again unpredictable and proved the forecasts wrong. The squall called “bourini” in Greek that hit our island yesterday is a natural phenomenon in the Greek islands, though not in May.
The “bourini” is a local but strong weather phenomenon and it is completely unpredictable.
It's almost like defusing the weather, as dark clouds gather quickly, the wind suddenly gets up and a local storm attacks the island, usually lasting just a few minutes. But these few minutes are enough to cause damage to houses, businesses and hotels.
